Jade Phoenix Martinez is an LA based, queer, trans, first gen filipinx american artist, writer, performer, entrepreneur and triple scorpio.
Jade is also a lover of food and friends, and spends a lot of her time figuring out how to get the two together! She spends the rest of her time with her 8 year old daughter Alaizah and her succulent plant babies.
Jade inherited her passion for food (and recipes) from her grandmother as she learned from her over their years living together!
As Jade started developing health issues, she had to cut out meat from her diet which meant most of the beloved recipes and foods she had learned from her Lola. Instead, Jade has been searching for ways to keep the authenticity of her lola’s recipes while replacing the meat options. So far so good! Kasama Eats has been a hit!
