Like many fil-am immigrants, I grew up in a multi generational family, so I was lucky to spend my adolescence living with my lolo and lola, so of course, I inherited my “food as Love language” from my Lola. She was a homemaker extraordinaire for 96 years strong that passed away almost one year ago last June. Today, I still carry her with me, in many ways she is my partner in this endeavor since the food we make are all of her original recipes and love! KASAMA eats is an offspring of that love.
